Knowing the Savior and Making Him Known

Friday 1/30/2026 Devotional

You make known to me the path of life; in Your presence there is fullness of joy; at Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.
Psalm 16:11

Living in the presence of God I find real peace, living in the confidence that He will show me the path of life. That removes the uncertainty and fear from my daily decisions and brightens the darkness of an unknown future.

There’s joy here, too. Having decided that no matter what comes I will just trust His Word, follow His lead and do it His way, I’m free to enjoy my life, with the fear and uncertainty dealt with.

Following Jesus removes the doubt and regret over whether I’ve done the right thing or made the right decision. Where I’ve mis-stepped, I repent and return, and His forgiveness covers me.

And there’s heaven to look forward to, forevermore!

Lord, thank You for drawing me into Your presence. Keep me there today, in the decisions I make, big and small. Help me to follow Your lead, do it Your way. Amen!

Loren Tungseth (from our Alaska Mission) has asked us to pray with Alaska Youth missionary Heather Hansen, for a youth named Kaya in Alaska who has made three suicide attempts, two of them in the last two months. Pray that the devil’s evil plans for this young person would be stopped, in Jesus’ name.

Lord Jesus, be with Kaya! Frustrate the enemy’s plans and reveal Yourself and the good life that You have planned, to Kaya, we pray. Amen.
