And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to His eternal glory in Christ, will Himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.
1 Peter 5:10

God promises that when this short time of temptation and suffering is passed, He Himself will restore all the damage done to me; He will make firm what’s wobbly in my character; He will replace my weakness with His strength, and He will establish me in His Kingdom. The glorious home and position He has prepared for me are assured to me, in spite of my weakness, failures, and disability.

The destiny to which you have been called is eternal and glorious. Keep going, brother; you’ll get there. Stay faithful.

Lord, keep me close today. Keep my eyes on the goal. Help me to live today with my eyes on eternity. Amen.
