Knowing the Savior and Making Him Known

Thursday 4/2/2026 Devotional

I will remember the deeds of the Lord; yes, I will remember Your wonders of old. I will ponder all Your work, and meditate on Your mighty deeds. Your way, O God, is holy. What god is great like our God? You are the God who works wonders; You have made known Your might among the peoples.
Psalm 77:11-14

Asaph, the Author of this Psalm, couldn’t sleep. His heart was burdened and his mind was troubled as he thought about everything that had gone wrong. He’d prayed about it all but got no relief. He had gotten to the point where he wondered if God had forgotten how to answer prayer.

This is the remedy that came to him; he wrote it down in the verse we just read. Instead of worrying about the prayers that hadn’t been answered yet, he would meditate on all the mighty works of God in the past.

Remember what God has done. Remember His mighty works. When you feel impatient and wonder about God’s timing, remember how He saved you, and how He has answered prayers in the past. You’ll find the faith welling up in your heart, quieting your mind, and filling you with His peace.

Lord Jesus, I remember so many miracles in answer to prayer. I thank You for them, one by one. I thank You for redeeming, saving, and delivering me, and I rest in You. My times are in Your hands. Amen.
