Knowing the Savior and Making Him Known

Wednesday 1/28/2026

O Lord, who shall sojourn in Your tent? Who shall dwell on Your holy hill? He who walks blamelessly and does what is right and speaks truth in His heart…
Psalm 15:1-2

There are some things that are necessary if I want to live in fellowship with the Lord. There’s a more detailed list here in this Psalm that explains it, but here is the foundation: I have to be seeking to do the right thing, while speaking the truth in my heart.

Of course, speaking the truth in my heart means I’m agreeing with God’s Word. I’m not lying to myself about my own perfection, or aiming that I am always “walking blamelessly.”

To “confess” means literally to agree with God. Where God says my thoughts, my words, or my actions are wrong, I agree with Him, if I’m really speaking the truth in my heart.

And when God says that my sins, even though they are many, are forgiven because Jesus took them on Himself, I agree with that, too, if I’m going to speak the truth in my heart.

Thank You, Lord, for showing me the right way, for showing me where I’m wrong, and for showing me Your forgiveness for Jesus’ sake. I agree; You’re right. Your Word is true. Amen.
