Strengthen the weak hands, and make firm the feeble knees. Say to those who have an anxious heart, "Be strong; fear not! Behold, your God will come with vengeance, with the recompense of God. He will come and save you."
Isaiah 35:3-4

Do you feel sometimes like you just can’t make it? Like the temptation you’re facing is just too much and you might as well just give up, throw in the towel and do what the world, the flesh and devil want you to do?

Be strong. Don’t be afraid. God’s Word promises you, “God is faithful, and He will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation He will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.”
1 Corinthians 10:13

He won’t allow you to be put into a situation of temptation for which He has not prepared you, or that you can’t resist. There will always be a way out. Watch for it, and take it when it comes.

The problem is usually that we don’t want the escape; we’re enjoying what the temptation offers way too much. But when we do take it, God meets us with all the avenging power of a Father protecting his child.

Let those who delight in my righteousness shout for joy and be glad and say evermore, "Great is the Lord, who delights in the welfare of His servant!"
Psalm 35:27

God delights in seeing you come through the trial to victory, and your real friends will be thrilled when they see you win this battle.

Father, you have promised that You won’t let me fall into temptation that’s beyond me. Show me the way through this one, the way of escape, and give me the strength to take hold of it. Deliver me from evil, and let me rejoice with my friends over the victory. Amen.
